This two-minute, sheep-filled belter is like a shock with an aural cattle prod and it comes from Hull punks LIFE. Thrashing its way out of the city of culture, 'Ba Ba Ba' is lifted from their debut album Popular Music, which will hit shelves 26th May and is entirely self-released. The attitude in it is staggering as it abrasively questions the following of the pack and all the decisions made in the name of the collective. The whole album follows this vein with lead singer Mex saying, “Popular Music sounds like panic and anxiety, it's the sound of shitting it about whatever happens next week." Can't argue with that - it's definitely what this sounds like. - SJ
